Barrack Obama Selection of Joe Biden as Vice President Running Mate
The selection of Senator Joesph Biden is in some ways an ommission of Barrack Obama that he does not have experience in foreign policies.
What Barrack Obama lacks in experience he can gain with his selection of Joel Biden.
The Republicans feel that John McCain is one candidate. But Barrack Obama has to have an additional person running to equal the strength of experience and maturity that McCain has.
Senator McCain has not yet made his selection of a candidate. But one can only imagine what strategies will happen now that everyone knows that Senator Obama and Senator Biden are matched on a ticket.
The Democratic Convention is just around the corner and it will be the event of a lifetime.

The USATODAY blogs say that Biden once commented about Obama:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy … I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
He doesn’t think, though, that Obama can win the presidency because he is “a one-term, a guy who has served for four years in the Senate. … I don’t recall hearing a word from Barack about a plan or a tactic.”
Joe Biden always said that Obama would not be good as a president. He went heavily against Obama’s campaign. And the irony of Obama selecting Biden is similar to McCain select Mitt Romney. Does this really make sense?
Well today, on Saturday August 23, 2008, Obama and Biden will join together to announce their partnership in Springfield, Illinois. Yes, the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln.
Obama is incredibly smart to pick someone like Biden who has over 30 years experience in government. And Biden has middle class roots and does not come from a lot of money like most of the other Senators.
Some people think that Obama could have reinforced his theme of “change” by brining someone from the outside to join his ticket. And some might think that Obama is flaking out. By picking Joe Biden, Barrack Obama is showing that he will seek the counsel of someone wise and with experience. He is showing that he respects the stability.
The Washington Post just released a poll suggesting this pick does nothing for Obama. What do you think?
Does Biden’s vote for the Iraq War now prevent Obama from pointing his finger at McCain for making the same vote? Finally with the news now out that Obama didn’t even vet Hillary as veep, does the choice of Biden further anger disgruntled Clinton supporters?
FYI: The McCain campaign has already released an ad showing Biden making negative statements about Obama and positive ones about the Arizona Senator. But McCain also called Biden and told him congratulations because they are chums.
