His response to “we’re just not sure that America is ready for an African American President.”

“I would not be running if I weren’t confident I was going to win.
I am not interested in second place.
I am not running to be vice president.
I am not running to be secretary of something or other.
I was doing just fine before I started running for president.
I am a United States Senator already.
Everybody already knows me.
I already sold a lot of books.
I don’t need to run for president to get on television
Or on the radio.
I’ve been on Oprah!
I am running to be President of the United States of America!”
