Obama Caricature on the New Yorker Cover Will Sure Make the Magazine Tons of Cash

Have you seen the New Yorker cover with Barrack and Michelle Obama?  Better yet, have you even heard of the New Yorker until now?  I am sure they printed extra copies of this magazine because this is very calculated. 

Barrack Obama is condeming the New Yorker magazine cover and calls it tasteless.  John McCain’s spkesman has said that  the cover is “tasteless and offensive.”  David Remnick, editor of the New Yorker says it’s a satire so everyone should get a laugh.

In many ways, Obama and the entire nation should prepare themselves for many such caricatures.  As soon as Obama screws up, it will happen as it has with all Presidents, the caricatures will become even worse.  The difference is that the caricatures of Obama will touch the racial nerve that many of us, black and white, try to avoid exposing.  So you better prepare yourself, no matter who you are, as cartoonist are only getting warmed up.

In some ways, it is good to see that the New Yorker can expose the nonsense that many secretly believe.  Let’s get it out in the open and talk about it.  But it also goes to show you that the news media will not stop at using any gimmick in order to sell magazines and get their name out.  This is viral marketing at its best.  Just think of the free advertising they are getting from all of the blogs and news sources on the web.

So if you think that he is a commander in Osama’s Army, and Michelle hates America and white folks, and they would rather burn the flag than wear it, and appreciate being Black, then I would suggest that you put away your Bible and deal with reality. 

 This ought to really scare the pants off of traditional Christians who compare the name “Obama” to “Osama,” believe that the Obama’s have a hidden agenda to get “whitey,” and are unpatriotic enough to stand in the middle of the whitehouse and burn the American flag.

 Inside the magazine, it is reported, that Ryanan Lizza spends 15 pages “exposing” Barrack Obama .  Obama is charaterized as a scheming, mercenary and opportunist bloke. 

This magazine cover will surely become a collector’s item.  In a few years, you will be able to sell it on eBay and make enough to pay for at least one semster of your child’s college tuition.

It will be interesting to see how Barrack Obama handles this New Yorker cover and how the caricature portrays him and Michelle.  Oh yeah, Michelle would look absolutely marvelous wearing an afro!
